Bessie Rae Helms, of Covington, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020, at the age of 91. Mrs. Helms liked to work with her hands and was known for her love of gardening and a well-kept yard. Alma Grace Meikle of Covington, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at the age of 83. Born in Highgate, St. Mary, Jamaica, Mrs. Meikle grew up in Kingston where she owned and operated a lingerie factory until 1976, when she immigrated to The Bronx, New York. After her move to New York, she became a nurse working for several years at Montefiore Hospital where she retired. Mrs. Meikle then moved to Ft.
