Juliette T. Boss, known lovingly to family and friends as Juliette, passed away on September 14, 2026, in Social Circle, Georgia, at the age of 84.

Juliette was born on May 26, 1942, in Oxford, Georgia, and resided in the Cornish Mountain Community the majority of her life. She lived a life marked by honesty, devotion, and steadfast love for the people around her. She was a woman of integrity who was always matter of fact, and those who knew her appreciated that they always knew where they stood with her. Her straightforward nature was matched by a warm heart, a feisty personality, and a deep faith that guided her throughout her life.

Juliette was a longtime member of Cornish Mountain Baptist Church, where her faith was an important part of who she was. She loved her church family and found strength and comfort in her beliefs. She was also known for her love of gospel and country music, which brought joy to her days and reflected the simple pleasures she cherished. Juliette enjoyed being at home, taking care of her house, and working in the yard, where she found peace and satisfaction in caring for the place she loved.

Family was at the center of Juliette’s life. She was married to her beloved husband, Bobby for 52 years, and together they built a life filled with love, commitment, and shared memories. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who took great pride in caring for her family. Juliette loved to cook for those she loved, and her gravy biscuits and fried pies were especially treasured by her family. She found joy in doing for others and in making sure the people around her were cared for and well fed.

Juliette was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Marie Thompson; her husband, Bobby Boss; her sisters, Gaynell Hanson and Shirley Knight; and her brothers, Clark Thompson, Ray Thompson, Golden Thompson, James Thompson, Winston Thompson, T.C. Thompson, Charlie Thompson, and Eugene Thompson. She is survived by her daughter Kim Floyd; her son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Laura Boss; her grandchildren, Matt Rodman, Hailey Rodman, Anslee and Levi Radford, Grady Boss, and Olivia Boss; her great-grandchildren, David Matthew Rodman Jr. and Adeya Rose Defares; her sister, Evelyn Stapp; and many nieces and nephews.

Those who knew Juliette will remember her as loving, faith-filled, and spirited. She enjoyed having a good time and brought life and personality to every room she entered. Her presence was strong, her love was genuine, and her devotion to her family and church was unwavering. She leaves behind a legacy of honesty, hard work, faith, and care for others that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

Juliette will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the life she lived and the love she gave so freely.
