Wanda Jean Lane July 1, 1957 – September 16, 2026

Wanda Jean Lane, 69, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family above all else.

Wanda was a simple, easy-going woman who enjoyed camping, cooking, and spending time with the people she loved. Her family and grandchildren brought her great joy, and she will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the love she gave so freely. She was a fighter and a survivor and we'll all miss her dearly. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Eugene and Nora Sorrows; her siblings; Trisha Herbert; Gail Woodruff; her son, Joey Lane; and her son-in-law, Michael Holder.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Russell Taylor; daughters, Tawanna Lane and Hope Lane Holder; sons, Rusty Taylor, Ricky Taylor, and Randy Taylor; grandchildren, Allan Holder (Jordyn), Austin Holder (Kadi), Brai Bryant (Jed), and Lexi Lane; several great-grandchildren; sister, Cathy Sorrows; and several nieces and nephews.

Wanda will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by burial at Eastview Cemetery in Conyers, Georgia.
