Theresa Long

Theresa Long, of Shady Dale, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the age of 84. Mrs. Long was an avid believer and was very active in her church where she sang in the choir. She loved music and singing and enjoyed singing with her husband. In addition, Mrs. Long loved going on mission trips and enjoyed doing puppet ministry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Long; parents, Joseph and Concetta Vazza.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Leheny (Michael); sons, Jim Long (Joyce), Kenneth Long (Jacky); grandchildren, Liz Ross (Dale), Rich McGrath (Karen), Theresa Powers (Steven), Michelle Reagan (Jon), Shane Long (Chelsea), Samantha Long, Jeannie Davenport (Jeremy), Candie Freeman (Jeff), Matthew Long, Jesse Rothacher; great-grandchildren, Zachary Coles (Kayla), Chase McGrath, Taylor McGrath, Marley Powers, Harper Powers, Evan Long (Madison), Chaze Long, Breaden Long, Ethan Long, Levi Long, Izach Long, Johnathan Hunter, Bentley Long, Trent Way, Tyler Rothacher, Jazmine Rothacher; great-great-grandchildren, Dawson McGrath, Addie McGrath, Asher Coles; and brother, Louis Vazza.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Long will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024, 8:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Apostle Fritz Musser officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to her service, from 7:00 – 8:00 P.M.,
