Charles Grady Canup

Charles Grady Canup, of Covington, passed away at his home peacefully, Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the age of 61. Mr. Canup worked for both the City of Covington and the City of Porterdale. He loved animals and enjoyed being outdoors and taking care of his goats and horses. Mr. Canup will be missed by all who loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Frances Canup; sisters, Evelyn Shaw, Linda Wilbanks; and brother, Franklin Canup.

Survivors include his loving wife of 10 years, Joyce Canup; daughter, Sarah Thompson; adopted daughter, Sarah Hill; grandson, Triston Heath; sister-in-law, Reesie Canup; nephews, Rueben Tant, Jamie Tant.

A Memorial Visitation for Mr. Canup will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.
