Polly Thomason Obituary

Polly Thomason of Covington, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018, at the age of 64. Mrs. Thomason's greatest attribute was her caregiver's heart. Whether spending time with her grandchildren, or her fur babies, Angel, Izzy, and Buddy, she was always tending to the needs of others. Mrs. Thomason loved cooking for her family and was best known for her delicious potato salad. She enjoyed all holidays, but Christmastime �' with all its lights and decorations �' was her favorite. Mrs. Thomason was preceded in death by her husband, Rance G. Thomason, Sr.; daughter, Tammy New; sons, Michael Thomason, Rance G.Thomason, Jr.; parents, Radford G. and Mary Ann (Smith) Salster; sister, Marie Hughes; and brother, Brad Salster.

Survivors include her son, Brian Keith Thomason; daughter, Teresa Gail Thomason; cousin, Wanda Lowery; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Willie Salster, Doug Salster, Johnny Salster, Tommy Salster, Tony Salster; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Thomason will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Franklin Rutledge officiating.
