Ozena Rodman Obituary

Ozena Rodman of Porterdale, passed away August 31, 2016, at 89 years of age. Mrs. Rodman retired from the Osprey Mill at Bibb Manufacturing Co. and then began a new career at Riverside Nursing Home, where she worked for 16 years before retiring. She was a very active member of Voice of Pentecost Church in Covington. Mrs. Rodman was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Rodman; parents, Howard Lewis and Frett (Butler) Long; sister, Doris Stevens, Leavie Newkirk; brother, Donald Long.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Carla Rodman, David Rodman; grandchildren, Hailey Rodman, Matt Rodman, one great-grandson; sister, Alice Harrison of Social Circle; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Rodman will be held Friday, September 2, 2016, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, Covington, with Pastor Gavin Moon officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family Friday one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.
