Mildred B. Moncrief

Mildred B. Moncrief of Social Circle, passed away June 6, 2018, at the age of 83. Mrs. Moncrief was a thoughtful, caring and giving person who enjoyed making others happy. Her favorite hobbies were quilting, sewing and doing crossword puzzles. Mrs. Moncrief will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Moncrief; and parents.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Bobby Moncrief, Terry and Donna Moncrief; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Keith White; grandchildren, Jeff and Allison Moncrief, Scott Moncrief and Kelley; five great-grandchildren, Morgan, Jake, Abbie, Ava, Justice; brother, Buck Burnett; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Moncrief will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018, 3:30 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Stan Berrong officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to her service, from 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM.
