Winola Bush Claville

Winola Bush Claville, of Covington, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at the age of 103. Mrs. Claville lived in Dahlonega for 24 years prior to moving to Covington. She was a former member of Dahlonega Baptist Church and was an active member of Oxford Baptist Church. In Mrs. Claville’s younger days, she was Registered Nurse at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida. She worked for Red Cross for 11 years and worked at various hospitals and with many doctors throughout the United States. Mrs. Claville was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leslie Mercer Claville, Sr.; sons, David Claville, Phillip Claville; parents, McCall and Willie Tee Bush; sisters, Dorothy Lambert, Juanita Stell; brothers, William S. Bush, George Bush, Roy Bush, Jimmy Bush.

Survivors include her son, Les Claville (Patsy); grandchildren, Jamie Claville (Connie), Joseph Claville (Kristy), Julie Harris, Carasse Criss (Shane), Laney Claville, Heather Felix (Monte), Arron Claville; great-grandchildren, Jacob Claville, Ashley Claville, Jessica Claville, Taylor Claville, Mattilayne Harris, Montana Harris, McCrae Harris, Rusty Claville; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Claville will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Cortt Chavis and Dr. Tom Massey officiating and interment following in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, in Tucker. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home one hour prior to her service from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital https://www.stjude.org/.
