Valerie Edge

Valerie Edge, of Covington, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021, at 45 years of age.  Having grown up in the Covington/Conyers area, Valerie was a faithful member of Eastridge Community Church and worked as the receptionist at Shear Bliss Beauty Salon.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Regina Robinson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 18 years, Chris Edge; daughters, Carlie Edge, Cayla Edge; son Chandler White; parents, Winston and Nancy White of Covington; sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Keith Peters of Good Hope; brother, Stephen White of Madison; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Edge will be held Friday, April 9, 2021, 3:00 P.M., at Mansfield Baptist Church, 101 Woodlawn Road, in Mansfield, with Pastor Scott Moore and Pastor Brad Rutledge officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family Thursday, April 8, 2021, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell and Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.

CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public.  Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services.  In addition, gatherings are limited to 50 persons or less in our facility at one time.  Please honor these restrictions for the safety of the family, yourself, and our staff.
