Terry Armistead Obituary

Terry Armistead, of Covington, passed away January 7, 2015, at the age of 62. A hard worker, Terry worked at Mobil Chemical for 20 years and was a tow truck driver with B & H Wrecker Service. Loving husband, Daddy, and Poppie, he adored spending time with his family. Terry never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Mae Mitchell Durden; father, Floyd Armistead; birth mother, Alice Mitchell Bales; and grandson, Zacharia Markus Dial.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Brooks Armistead; son, Chad Armistead; step-daughter, Brandi Long; step-son, Charlie Long; daughter-at-heart, Patricia Lopez; grandchildren, Leslie Armistead, Tyler Long, Levi Long, Colton Lopez; six sisters; four brothers, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Terry will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015, 3:00 PM, at Lawnwood Memorial Park, with Pastor David Maddox officiating.
