Sandra Lee Richardson

Sandra Lee Richardson, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at the age of 76. Mrs. Richardson enjoyed being a Sunday School teacher and singing in the choir. She loved to cook and delighted in making Sunday dinner for her family. Mrs. Richardson was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed making quilts and working in the yard planting flowers. She loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Giles Franklin Richardson; parents, Robert Lee and Ruby Sullivan.

Survivors include her sons, Danny Richardson (Liz), Mike Richardson (Susan), Rod Richardson; grandchildren, Michael Richardson, Molly Uriarte (Hector), Matthew Richardson (Piper), Levi Richardson, Emmalee Richardson, Hanna Richardson, Blaire Richardson; great-grandchildren, Bella Uriarte, Arie Uriarte, Max Uriarte, Archer Richardson, Elliot Richardson; and sisters, Mary Jane Hooper, Betty Ann McCoy.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Richardson will be held Monday, May 1, 2023, 2:00 P.M., at Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor David Wheeler officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Sunday, April 30, from 2:00 – 5:00 P.M.
