Rick Mahs

Rick Mahs of Eatonton, passed away August 13, 2018, at the age of 60. Mr. Mahs was a dedicated employee of 21st Century Oncology where his job was a big part of his life. He had a heart of gold, a good sense of humor and a sarcastic wit. Mr. Mahs enjoyed traveling to the mountains in his spare time. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, son and brother. He is preceded in death by his father, Marion Mahs, Jr.; and brother, Robert Mahs.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Joe Siple; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Mahs, Matthew and Lisa Mahs; mother, Patsy Mahs; grandchildren, Daylin, Braydon; sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Mike Clackler; niece, Amanda Weinberger; and nephew, Chris Lamon.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Mahs will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2018, 11:00 AM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Tanner Cline officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park in Covington. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
