Renee Hardegree

Renee Hardegree, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at the age of 52. Ms. Hardegree had a strong personality; she was bold and determined and will be remembered for her love of Coca-Cola. Ms. Hardegree was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Jeanette Bagley; father, Jackie Lanier Hardegree.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Shane Clay and fiancé, Sarah Tumlin; step-father, Larry Bagley; many extended family members; as well as her beloved cat, Brooks.

A Funeral Service for Ms. Hardegree will be held Thursday, May 13, 2021, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Mike Farmer and Pastor Frankie Green officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to her service, from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M.

Governor Brian Kemp’s latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public.  Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services.
