Ramona Elizabeth Wofford

Ramona Elizabeth Wofford, of Danielsville, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the age of 80. Mrs. Wofford was a devoted Alabama football fan and loved to dance. She was caring, lived her life to the fullest, and never met a stranger. Mrs. Wofford will be remembered as a loving mother. She was preceded in death by her son, Lloyd W. Wofford, Jr.; parents, Robert Simmons and Evelyn Elizabeth Evans; sisters, Judy Frances Evans, Bobbie Jean Britt; brothers, Gordon Harvey Evans, Stephen Scooter Wayne Evans, Jerry Robert Evans, and Johnny Alford Evans.

Survivors include her son, Curtis J. Wofford (Tina); grandchildren, Ashley Wofford, Austin Wofford, Elizabeth E. Iverson (Deacon); great-granddaughter, Elaine H. Iverson; sister, Peggy Jane Evans; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Evans will be held Monday, May 8, 2023, 12:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Stephen Bradshaw officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Sunday, May 7, from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M.
