Patricia Scott Dozier

Patricia Scott Dozier, of Covington, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021, at the age of 62.  A vital member of The Pentecostals of McDonough, Patricia’s immeasurable capacity to love framed her life and the joy she received from making others happy was genuine. As the centerpiece of her large family, she was intentional in staying connected to her children and grandchildren. Patricia enjoyed hosting get-togethers and a homecooked meal was her love offering. Her presence will be missed in ways yet unknown, but her memory will never cease to exist for those she loved so dearly. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Scott; second husband, Carl Dozier; parents, Clarence and Mary (Brewer) Mann; and brothers, W.A. Mann, Vern Mann, Steven Mann, Wesley Mann.

Patricia will be remembered with great affection by her daughters and son-in-law, Amy Fulton, Julie and Gera Gomez; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Beth Scott, Daniel and Lisa Scott, Jacob and Kayla Scott, Joseph Scott, Austin Thornton; 22 grandchildren, plus one on-the-way; as well as sister and brother-in-law, Kelly English and David Carter.

A Funeral Service for Patricia will be held Friday, January 15, 2 PM, at The Pentecostals of McDonough, 1181 US-23, in McDonough, with Pastor Patrick Harvey officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh United Methodist Cemetery, Frontage Road, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the church, one hour prior to her service, from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Flowers are accepted, or memorial donations may be made to the church.
