Mahembe Samueli

Mahembe Samueli, age 65, of Clarkston, passed away August 26, 2017. A member of Light Mission Pentocostal Church in Clarkston, Mr. Samueli was a man who strongly believed in family and helping others. Meeting new immigrants and mentoring them as they acclimated to a new culture here in the United States was a passion for Mr. Samueli. He was preceded in death by four children; and his parents.

Survivors include his wife Kabura Odette; daughters, Nibitanga Merida, Irakoze Virini, Sabukunze; sons, Nzamu Beteri, Nikobiri Paul, Tuyisenge Israel; grandchildren, Ahishakiye Yvette, Annabella Munezero, Janne Ndayishimye, Cynthia Jean, Irumva Theogen; and sisters, Ntahondi Oreni, Herena.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Samueli will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017, 10 AM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Callixte officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington. Friends may visit with his family at the funeral home, beginning at 10 AM the day of service.
