Larry Mostek

Larry Mostek of Covington, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at the age of 80. A dedicated and faithful man of God, Mr. Mostek pastored several churches while living in Nevada and California. Second only to his love for Christ was his love of family; he spent quality time with loved ones whenever possible. Mr. Mostek shared a special bond with his grandchildren and will be remembered for his devotion in helping to guide and coach them in their favorite sport. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and he loved to play softball - he even played for a senior travel team. Mr. Mostek was preceded in death by his mother, Orpha Bruffey; father, Alfred Mostek; and sister, Mary Mostek.

He is survived by his adoring wife, Patsy Mostek of Covington; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Raymond Maxwell of Conyers; sons and daughter-in-law, Mark Mostek of Conyers, Matthew Mostek of Covington, Michael and Kelly Mostek of Mansfield; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and David Kartzer of Arizona, Victoria and Larry Halbert of Oregon; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date.
