Lance Stephen Conner

Lance Stephen Conner passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2023, at the age of 33.  He lived in Raleigh NC with his beloved dog, Aimee.

Lance loved motorcycles and cars.  He graduated from Motorcycle Mechanic Institute in Orlando, FL.  Lance dreamed of opening his own mobile motorcycle mechanic business one day.  He enjoyed snowboarding in Colorado where he lived on several occasions.  Lance worked for several motorcycle and ATV shops and hotel maintenance departments during his life. He also enjoyed cooking and creating his own unique recipes.

He is preceded in death by his father, Randall Clifford Conner; his stepfather, Tyson Smith, Jr.; his grandparents, Charles and Virginia Gheesling, Sr.; Cliff and Modene Conner; his step-grandparents, Tyson and Juanita Smith, Sr.

Lance is survived by his mother, Kathy Gheesling Smith; his brother, Jason Conner (Kelly); his sister, Rachel Woodburn (Joshua); his stepbrothers, Tyson Smith (Stephanie), Matthew Smith, and Jacob Smith; his nieces, Ansley Woodburn, Hallie and Sophie Conner; his Uncle, Charles Gheesling (Penny); and many other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., graveside at Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington, GA.
