Jordy Witcher Obituary

Jordy "Deanie" Witcher, age 77, of Newborn, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020. Mrs. Witcher loved the Lord and read her Bible daily. Her life was rooted in simplicity and centered around family. She will be remembered for her homecooked meals, which included a praiseworthy potato salad, and always having a pot of coffee on and ready for the taking. Mrs. Witcher was preceded in death by her son, Ralph Steven Witcher; parents, Thomas and Alma Sue Russell; sister, Sharon Sanders; and brother, Thomas Russell.

Left to remember Mrs. Witcher with great affection is her devoted husband of 52 years, Ralph Witcher; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jerry Tow; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Kimberly Witcher, Jason and Elizabeth Witcher; grandchildren, Anna, Danielle, Micah, Jordyn, Waylon, Maddox, J.T., Shianne; sister, Jean Lutton; as well as brothers, James Russell, Steve Russell, Michael Russell.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Witcher will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2020, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Mickey Kitchens officiating and interment following in Newborn Memorial Cemetery, Highway 142, in Newborn. Friends may visit with her family at the funeral home Monday, March 16, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M.
