Jimmy Ogden

Jimmy Ogden of Covington, passed away November 14, 2014, at the age of 58. He enjoyed hunting, spending time at his farm, taking his family out on the boat and watching NASCAR. Jimmy loved his family dearly, and cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 31 years, Cathy (Mink) Ogden; parents, Wilbur and Jacqueline (McLeod) Ogden; and his brother, Christopher Ogden.

Survivors include his daughter, Carrie Ogden of Covington; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Destiny Ogden of Monticello; grandchildren, Cadance Ogden, Blake Ogden; sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and Joey Davis of Canton; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Beverly and Baxter Eller of Swannanoa, NC; several nieces and nephews; as well as his family at Bishop Machine Works.

A Memorial Service for Jimmy will be held Sunday, November 16, 2014, 4:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, two hours prior to the service, from 3:00 - 4:00 PM.
