Jeffrey Todd Osment

Jeffrey Todd Osment, of Social Circle, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the age of 57. Mr. Osment was a member of West End Baptist Church, in Social Circle, where he served as a Deacon and taught adult Sunday school classes. He worked at Industrial Control Direct, a subsidiary of B&D Industrial. In his free time, Mr. Osment enjoyed woodworking, working in his yard, and riding his tractor. He loved spending time with his family whether he was playing golf with his boys, going on vacations, or spending quality time with his grandchildren. In addition, Mr. Osment was an avid South Carolina Gamecocks fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Taylor Lee and Wilma Mullinax Osment; and brothers, Danny Osment, and Randy Osment.

Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Felisa Osment; daughter, Whittney Self (Jeremy); sons, Brandon Osment (Shellie), Blake Osment (Jessica); grandchildren, Clara, Brooklyn, Tanner, Garrison, Caroline, Grant, Hadlee; brothers, Ricky Osment (Val), Scott Osment (Melinda); sisters-in-law, Judy Osment, Vicki Stephenson (Tommy); brother-in-law, Vinson James (Sandy); father and mother-in-law, McArthur James (Frances); as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Osment will be held Sunday, February 5, 2023, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Craig Hudgins and Rev. Brant Sweat officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home prior to his service, from 1:00 – 2:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West End Baptist Church Land and Building Fund, 455 S Cherokee Road, Social Circle, GA 30025.
