James Fuller

James Fuller, of Oxford, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, at the age of 83. Mr. Fuller liked working on lawnmowers, cars, and tinkering around mechanically. He enjoyed being outside whether he was tending to his garden, catfishing, or riding his tractor. Additionally, Mr. Fuller was a big fan of NASCAR. He loved his family, his dog, Charlie, and will be remembered as a wonderful family man. Mr. Fuller was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Fuller; parents, Obie and Ollie Fuller; sisters, Mavis Fuller, Joyce Fuller, Susie Fuller; and brothers, Lawson Fuller, Jerry Fuller, Joel Fuller, Byron Fuller.

Survivors include his children, James Fuller, Jr. (Teresa), Patricia Smith, Tracy Parker, Lynn Whitehead (Steve), Wendy Ginn (Steve), Chris Strickland, Tim Strickland, Melanie Call, Lisa Cowan; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Qualls, Tina Snellgrove; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Fuller will be held Monday, April 24, 2023, 2:00 P.M, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Wayne Fuller officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, Sunday, April 23, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made towards the funeral expenses for Mr. Fuller.
