Howard "Pappy" Haber, Sr. Obituary

Howard “Pappy” Haber, Sr., of Conyers, passed away Monday, May 24, 2021, at the age of 73. Mr. Haber proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Navy Seabee and worked as a Communications Tech at AT&T. He was a member of the Honey Creek Country Club, Yarabb Red Devil Clowns and was a Free Mason. In addition, Mr. Haber was a member of the Shriners Club where he happily shared his talents performing as a clown to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children. For a few years, he and his wife, Barbara, lived in Belgium where they toured World War II historical sites. Mr. Haber had a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed a good joke and drinking Miller Light. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and adored his dog, Baby. Mr. Haber was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Haber; grandson, Caden Haber; parents, Herman and Jean Haber; sister, Patricia Webb.

Survivors include his daughters, Kathleen Peters (Wesley), Jennifer Gioffredo (Jake); son, Howard William Haber, Jr. (Amanda); grandchildren, Zelda Peters, Tallulah Peters, Tyler Gioffredo, Kylie Gioffredo, Jasmine Haber, Mia Haber.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Haber will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021, 1:00 P.M., at Honey Creek Country Club, 635 Clubhouse Dr SE, in Conyers, with Curt Zehner officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Processing Center, P.O. Box 863765, Orlando, FL 32886 or online at https://www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org/shc .
