Hazel Stanley

Hazel Stanley, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at the age of 83. Mrs. Stanley was a member of Journey Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible, watching Jimmy Swaggart, and crocheting. Mrs. Stanley loved spending time with her family and was a phenomenal cook. Her family especially loved her roast beef gravy and biscuits. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Stanley; son, Johnny Stanley; siblings, Jack, Tommy, Cleveland, Bo, Shirley, Lucille, Betty Jean.

Survivors include her children, Ronny Stanley (Debbie), Vicki Walden (John), Ricky Stanley (Tracy); grandchildren, Rhonda Calalay (Freddie), Bubba Stanley (Natalie), Billy Stanley (Jessie), Elizabeth Stanley, John Stanley (Amanda), Jonathan Stanley (Lyndsey), Daniel Stanley (Kayla), Josh Walden (Nicole), Kari Howard (Zane), Kati Pollard (Josh), Nicholas Stanley, Heather Stanley (Mikey Cook); 27 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Stanley will be held Monday, March 20, 2023, 12 Noon, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Billy Sheppard officiating and interment following in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, Sunday, March 19, from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M.
