Harold (Bo) Bradford, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at the age of 85. Mr. Bradford was a member of Love Joy United Methodist Church and a dedicated employee with the City of Covington for 30 years, retiring as superintendent of the water and sewer department. He always took advantage of additional learning opportunities to better serve the City of Covington and enjoyed vacationing to Jekyll Island with his wife for city meetings there. Mr. Bradford also enjoyed taking trips with members of his church, especially the seniors, and maintaining the church yard. He loved his family dearly and was always there when needed and was an excellent teacher to his children and grandchildren. Mr. Bradford will be remembered as a great husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Floyd and Hattie (Wright) Bradford; two sisters; and two brothers.
Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Ruth O. Bradford; children and their spouses, Gary and Patricia Mann, Glenn and Holly Bradford, Keith and Kim Bradford; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Bradford; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service for Mr. Bradford will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Gil Gainer officiating and entombment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, prior to his service from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to Love Joy United Methodist Church, 12835 GA-36, Covington, GA 30014.
