Dianne Benke

Dianne Benke, of Covington, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, at the age of 76. Dianne was very athletic; she played basketball in high school and played softball at the shortstop position for years. She liked to travel and play the slot machines. Additionally, Dianne loved to read and watch her favorite TV show, Yellowstone. She enjoyed spending time outside in her garden or sitting on her porch watching the birds. Dianne adored her whole family and always tried keeping up with everyone. She was preceded by her parents, Elizabeth and Robert “Buster” Skinner; brothers, Robert Skinner, Terry Skinner, Bill Skinner; and sister, Martha Jones.

Dianne is survived by her husband, Donald Benke; daughters, Dodie Chupp, Shea Murray, Heather Keys; sons, Steve Smallwood, Don Benke, Jr.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service for Dianne will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021, 1:00 P.M., at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, in Covington.
