Denise Bowen

Denise Bowen of Shady Dale, passed away November 23, 2017, at 50 years of age. Denise was a member of Ministers of The New Covenant Church. She and her husband, Frank, played together in the band, August Rain, but her true passion was to serve family first, then to share and care for all others. Denise was preceded in death by her father, David Fletcher, Sr.

Survivors include her loving husband of 29 years, Frank Bowen; daughters and son-in-law, Danae and Brandon Roberts of Mansfield, Dayna Bowen of Shady Dale, Anniston Bowen; grandchildren, Ava Roberts, Payelyn Roberts, Cohen Roberts, Marlow Roberts; mother, Sandra Fletcher; sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Doug Clack of Loganville; brother and sister-in-law, David, Jr., and Erin Fletcher of Madison; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Denise will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017, 2:00 PM, at the Bowen Family Cemetery, 7969 Highway 142, in Shady Dale, with Mr. Matthew Janzen officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Denise may be made to her granddaughter, Ava Roberts, to help with her special needs.
