Deborah Gail Cater

Deborah Gail Cater, of Jackson, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023, at the age of 67. Mrs. Cater enjoyed watching MASH, traveling to the beach, and riding motorcycles with her husband, Craig. She loved spending time with her family and especially liked attending all her granddaughter’s events. In addition, Mrs. Cater held a special place in her heart for her pets, Oscar and Freckles. She will be remembered as a great wife and mother. Mrs. Cater was preceded in death by her parents, James William and Flora Bell Plunkett; and sister, Shirley Biggs.

Survivors include her loving husband, Craig Cater; daughter, Casandra Alldred; granddaughters, Savannah Alldred, Autumn Alldred; and siblings, Dwayne Angelo, George Plunkett, James Allen Plunkett, Bonnie Woodfin.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Cater will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023, 1:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Wayne Sosebee officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to her service, from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.
