Darrel Glen Gudgen

Darrel Glen Gudgen, Loganville, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the age of 65. Mr. Gudgen worked as a truck driver for many years for various companies. When he wasn’t on the road working, he enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing, vacationing in Panama City Beach with his wife, Delores, and watching wrestling. In addition, Mr. Gudgen shared a special bond with his dog, Teddy Bear, whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores “Dee” Gudgen; daughter, Michelle Gudgen; son, Michael Seth Gudgen; parents, Royal Wheeler and Leila Gudgen.

Survivors include his daughter, Samantha Gudgen (Eric) of Lakeland, Florida; son, David Gudgen (Emily) of New Bern, North Carolina; brother, Dennis Gudgen (Carolyn) of Macon, Georgia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Gudgen will be held Friday, September 23, 2022, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family, at the funeral home, one hour prior to his service, from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M.
