Carl Marchant Obituary

Carl Marchant, of Griffin, passed away Monday, November 18, 2019, at 72 years of age. A graduate of Tifton County High School, Mr. Marchant never met a stranger and believed in living life to the fullest. He was preceded in death by his parents, William David and Annie Laurie Marchant; as well as brother-in-law, Richard McMillian.

Those left to cherish memories made with Mr. Marchant are his wife, Denise Marchant; daughter, Theresa Celeste Marchant; son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Brandi Williams; grandson, Brandon Chase Jackson; sisters and brother-in-law, Patty and Raleigh Henry, Annis McMillian; nieces, Karen Henry, Terri Billings and her husband, Brad; nephew, Kyle Henry and his wife, Lindy; several great nieces and great nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Marchant will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019, 1:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, with Pastor David Payne officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, Wednesday, November 20, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
