Wilma Sellers Ross

Wilma Sellers Ross, of Covington, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026, at the age of 91. Mrs. Ross was a quiet and reserved woman whose strength was felt most deeply by those closest to her. She loved fiercely, especially her grandchildren, who were her greatest pride and joy. An avid reader, she found comfort and companionship in books and cherished moments of quiet reflection. Though soft-spoken, her love was steady, enduring, and unmistakable. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ross; and parents, Preston and Louise Sellers.

Survivors include her Daughter, Sherri Thompson (Dale); grandchildren, Hannah Thompson, Ross Thompson; siblings, John Wayne Sellers (Doris), Wylene Price (Jack), Sonny Sellers (Pam).

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Ross will be held Thursday, January 8, 2026, 1:00 P.M. at Cobb Funeral Chapel & Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens, 2441 Georgia 37, in Moultrie. Friends are invited to visit with the family Wednesday, January 7, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.
