William Darrol Clewis

William Darrol Clewis, departed this life on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023, at the age of 57.

The fifth child of his parents, who preceded him in death. Darrol was born on September 4th, 1966, to Marvine, Elizabeth (White) Clewis and Waide Christopher Clewis.

Darrol leaves behind his beloved sisters, Debbie Jones (Steve), Brooks, Ga. Cyndi Park, Porterdale, Ga, Mary Clewis, TN, and his only brother, Chris Clewis (Diane) Jonesboro, Ga. Beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. Our family in North Carolina, and dear friends. His beloved pets, Boomer the rescue dog, Kitties, Boo and Boy, dog walker and friend Laurie L.

Darrol inherited his green thumb and way with plants from our maternal grandmother, Genora Elizabeth White.

The family wants to recognize and thank Darrol’s employer, 84 Lumber, for their care and compassion during his illness. Darrol loved his job and those he worked with daily.

We loved him a lot, but God loves him more. John 3:16.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Clewis will be held Friday, October 27, 2023, 3:00 P.M., at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, in Covington.
