William Lingold, of Macon, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the age of 81.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marianne Lingold; son, Baby Lingold; parents, James and Annette Lingold; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his son, Doug Lingold (Jennifer); daughter, Jenny Roberts (Micah); grandchildren, Ariel Stowe (Derrick), Britteny Layne (Heath), Thomas Roberts (kasie), Nate Roberts, Conner Roberts, Mathew Roberts; 9 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Becky Cross.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Lingold will be held Friday, June 12, 2026, 11:00 A.M., at Liberty Cemetery, in Porterdale.
