Warren Candler George, known to family and friends simply as Warren, passed away on August 15, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia, at the age of 71. He was born on March 6, 1955, in Atlanta, Georgia, and spent his life rooted in the community he loved. Warren will be remembered as a loving, kind, and friendly man whose quiet nature gave way to a warm and generous spirit once he got to know someone. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Candler and Vera George. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Robyne George; his daughter, Mandy George; his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Rheanna George; his granddaughter, Presleigh Lowery; his brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Lynn George; and many nieces and nephews. His family was the center of his life, and he took great pride in the people he loved and the life they built together. Those who knew Warren best understood that he was a quiet man until you got to know him, and then his kindness and steady presence became unmistakable. He was always willing to help others, often without seeking recognition or praise. His gentle nature and dependable character left a lasting impression on everyone, fortunate enough to cross his path. Warren’s life was marked by loyalty, humility, and a sincere care for the well-being of others. Warren enjoyed a full and active life, especially when he was outdoors. He loved working in his garden and found peace in tending to the things he grew. Fishing was another favorite pastime, giving him time to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. He was also a devoted sports fan who loved and played soccer. He also enjoyed college football, cheered faithfully for the Atlanta Falcons, and was a big Braves fan. Georgia was his favorite team, and he followed them with enthusiasm and pride. Above all, Warren cherished his marriage to Robyne and the family they created together over 45 years. He valued time spent with loved ones and found joy in the everyday moments that made life meaningful. His presence brought comfort, his words carried sincerity, and his actions reflected the love he had for his family and friends. Warren Candler George leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and quiet strength. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
