Vonda Morris Pilgrim

Vonda Morris Pilgrim, born July 5, 1962, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, surrounded by love. She was 62.

Vonda was a vibrant spirit, loving, fun, spunky, and a true firecracker. Her passion for life and people made her a beloved figure in the community. Known to many as "Nana," she never met a stranger and always had an open heart and home. She cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she had a deep love for her dogs, who were always by her side.

Vonda was preceded in death by her parents, Euver and Barbara Jean Pilgrim; brothers, Douglas and Davie Pilgrim; her son, Timothy Morris; and granddaughter, Karlee Jean Bevers.

She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Bevers (Kevin); her brother, Dannie Pilgrim (Judy); grandchildren, Amber & Ashley Morris, Chevy & Kaylee Parker, Kelsie Bevers, Vanessa Kitchens, Ronnie Head, and Skyla Grant; along with several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chevy Parker, Ronnie Head, Chance Kitchens, Kip Durham, Aiden Bailey, and Ray Phillips.

A visitation will be held at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, GA. on Monday, June 2, 2025 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will follow on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home.
Interment will follow immediately at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, 915 Church Way, Loganville, GA 30052.

Vonda’s legacy of love, laughter, and fiery spirit will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
