Vertis Leory Slappey, of Covington, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the age of 69. Mr. Slappey was a great father and loved his family dearly. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jean Slappey.
Survivors include his sons, Robert Slappey, and Jody Slappey.
