Troy Richard Dailey

November 9, 1967 — September 23, 2025

Troy Richard Dailey, of Conyers, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the age of 57.

Empathetic, kind, a man who loved adventure and to travel experiencing the new with a need to cross every line finding a fuel to fire when people doubted him or said no, he liked to defy odds and stubborn barely touches the surface when it comes to the hardness of his head, he was planted in the word of God and believed all in life can be saved never to far gone, he saw the good and beauty in all even the unorthodox or "set of those who don't belong" he invited in the outcasts never to turn anyone away who needed a friend, a heart of gold and a mind always set on 1000, high energy and electric excited to live life and shared his light with everyone around. unforgettable, hard not to love, he'd give all he had to anyone in need because he had strong faith in the lord confident he'd provide and if it was his last he'd have what he needed in the time of his need, he was never driven by fear or other opinions, but driven by his vision gifted to him by Jesus and stood in the word of God as his guide. He was a person you'd be so lucky to know, as he loved in a way so unconditional so warm and without limit, he will be missed, he will be in thoughts of all those who had the gift to know him, as he is not replaceable, he will leave a mark on this world and those he touched eternally. Until the day we meet again.

Troy was a man of pure heart, he lived with a God first - purpose driven life - finding joy in the fulfillment of helping others and seeing the light in all things. He found a way to turn everything into an adventure, sky diving with his kids, spontaneous and impulsive at the right times taking trips across the world spur of the moment booking a flight to feel the freedom of the ocean kissing the sand and the quiet of the wind and waves - he believed in God's love and he showed love to all he came across giving forgiveness grace and mercy investing all he had to give into each person God placed in his path. He refused to give up on people, always fighting for those who didn't fight for themselves reminding them that Jesus loves them unconditionally and all can be redeemed and set free

Peace and beauty is found in death as death is when you truly come to life, Troy believed whole heartedly through death is truly life and when your no longer restricted by flesh but freed with your spirit perfectly unified with our father in heaven, he lived fully and unapologetically, giving 110% of himself in all things he did and lived by living for others as he was on fire for Jesus and the calling on his life was magnetic and profound making his light and love stand out to all who met him with his high energy spirit always full of life even in the midst of hard times finding a way to smile finding joy in all circumstances.

He was very close to his children, his best friend being his daughter till the day of his second birth when he went to be with Jesus and his best friend eternally his son Ryan reunited that day, he was an ordained pastor, with ministries he spread the message of Jesus and the living water God's word was ready to offer all those who would accept the invitation, his ministry was not only here at home, but spread to other countries including Peru where he dedicated much of his time to building churches, schools, and spreading the love and blessings God put on his heart to share.

After the death of his son, his daughter found that time of year being around Christmas depressing, so she decided to go feed the homeless the year after he passed and encouraged her mom and Troy to join. They were wanting to isolate as grief is all too heavy but of course reluctantly agreed wanting to support and be there for their daughter and her way of trying to find a light in the darkness, a way to get through. Troy, Brandee, and Jordan all were in agreement that it had made them feel life and actual happiness for the very first time since Ryan passed, it filled them and they all found they were the ones blessed the most from the blessings God lead them to share. Feeding the homeless, and starting non-profits, charities, and many different avenues to help those in need became a regularity and every single Christmas day, growing into a way to revive the parts that felt brought to life through others finding joy.

Troy was fearless, as he trusted God and often loved to repeat the phrase "Perfect love cast out all fear" and "My god is mighty, whom shall i fear" He lived with full life, and nothing held him back from doing what he set his mind and heart on. He knew who he was, and who he loved, and chased what he wanted in life never giving up as failure was not in Troy's vocabulary, he said to fail is to fall and not get back up but success is to refuse to stay down not applying the learned lesson to get up and fight again with out making the mistakes made previously. He was very successful in his life, he had many challenges and faced many hard times from childhood into adulthood but he managed to be a survivor not a victim. Using his pain to fuel his ambitions and his love to help others in dark places.

Troy loved to swim, to be active and play tennis, he ADORED the camera and if you put one on him he'd strike a pose in the middle of anything even driving as he took both hands OFF the wheel as he was a bit of a daredevil with no sense of fear due to his unfailing bravery, Troy was one of a kind and there will never be another one who can come close to the man we all adored.
