Terry Ashley Kitchens, of Milledgeville, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the age of 63. Mr. Kitchens was a man who never met a stranger. Known for his funny personality and outgoing spirit, he loved to joke, cut up, and pick with everyone around him. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting, and making carp bait, something he was always working on. Above all, he dearly loved his children, grandchildren, and grand puppies. Mr. Kitchens was a caring and compassionate man whose laughter and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Kitchens; parents, Carl and Lucy Kitchens; great-grandchild, Hayden Grace "Bugs"; siblings, Melinda Terrell and Wayne Kitchens.

Survivors include his children and their spouses, Ashley Miller (Jeff), Billy (Bryan) Kitchens, Chris Kitchens, Melissa Kitchens, Rebecca Carroll (Conner), Step-son, Stewart Arrant (Tiffany); grandchildren, Chelsea (Wes), Joe, Zach, Blake, Brent, Brooklyn, Chloe, Tanner, Holden, Xavier, Elijah, Tate, Taelor, Trey, Will, Jasmine, Savannah, Ethan, Stewart "Stewie", Kenzie, Ryleigh; siblings, Cathy Blair (Ricky), Cary Kitchens (Mary), Gary Kitchens (Jackie); as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Kitchens will be held Friday, May 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home 1215 Access Rd., Covington, Ga 30014. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to his service, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM. Inurnment will follow at Green Meadows Memorial Gardens, 699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012.
