Susan Mote of Conyers, passed away November 18, 2017, at 54 years of age. A resident of Newton County since 1980, Susan's hobbies included arts, crafts, nature photography, and stained glass. She had a very outgoing personality who loved decorating her whole house for every holiday. Susan loved animals, especially her Chihuahuas. She will be remembered as a kind and caring mother and grandmother, who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jamie Mote of McDonough, Mark Leo Mote of Covington; grandchildren, Riley Ann Mote, Layla Maxine Mote; mother and father Esperanza and Leo Rodgers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Regina and George Hayman of Milton, FL, Lavina and Andy Lewis of Madison; brother, Duane Rodgers of Conyers; niece, Hope Hayman; nephews, Blake Hayman, David Lewis, Scott Lewis and his wife, Desiree; great-nephew, Cameron Lewis.
A Memorial Service for Susan will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017, 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, with Rev. David Rogers officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family two hours prior to the service, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM
