Susan Lenore Kersey

Susan Lenore Kersey, of Conyers, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026, at the age of 56. Mrs. Kersey was a loving and joyful woman who treasured time spent with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed going on trips with her family, creating memories filled with laughter and love. Mrs. Kersey was known for savoring her naps and a good glass of sweet tea, simple pleasure that brought her comfort and happiness. On weekends, she delighted in visiting friends, spending quality time together, and enjoying friendly games of bingo. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Wales and Donald Bates; her fur baby Little Bit; and her father-in-law, Clinton Kersey.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Kersey; children, Bryan Kersey, Jacob Kersey; grandchildren, Isaac, Waylon, Emma; sisters, Donna Cobb, Cindy Blake; mother-in-law, Joyce Kersey; brother-in-law, Rick Kersey; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins and many friends.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Kersey will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, 12:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Green Meadow memorial Gardens, 677 Legion Drive, in Conyers. Friends are invited to visit with the family Tuesday, January 20, from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M., and again on Wednesday, two hours prior to her service from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
