Susan Heard

Susan Heard, of Covington, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the age of 67. Mrs. Heard will be lovingly remembered for her joyful spirit and deep love for her family. She found happiness in listening to music and dancing, relaxing at the beach, and going on adventures. She especially cherished time spent cooking and being with family, with family gatherings holding a special place in her heart. Above all, Mrs. Heard adored her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. Her warmth, laughter, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Smith; and grandparents, Guy and Mabel Campbell.

Survivors include her husband, George Heard; children, Reesy Mann (Jerimy), Amanda Lopez (Tino), Tony Heard (Dorshel); grandchildren, Kadey, Kiara, Donavin, Khloie, Jaycie; great-grandchildren, Kaeson, Cora Belle, Adyline, Ellie; brother, David Montgomery (Susan); nephews, Jerome Montgomery and Cody Montgomery; as well as her fur-baby, Mabel.

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Heard will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025, 10:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.
