Steven was an exceptional Husband, soulmate, and my best friend. We enjoyed our many walks and talks through our neighborhood or on the Covington square. We were proud to share the accomplishment of Steven being a published author with his book of poems. I always tried to encourage him to the best of my ability in everything he did, and he did the same for me. We loved to dance in the kitchen to Ed Shereans “Perfect”. We enjoyed the much needed beach trips without the kids as empty nesters. There aren’t enough words to describe what those moments meant to us. I will cherish them forever, until I can see him again. He was the best father, grandfather and brother to his whole family. I will miss him more than I can ever put into words.

Steven was “mister fix it” or “Daddy can you come over and help me ” to his daughter. He never hesitated to show up, never asked why because whatever it was, he was dropping everything to be there. He was the best at dad jokes and even though you never knew where he got them from, they always put a smile on your face. He never left without saying “I love you” even if it was just a pat on the head or a kiss on the forehead. "I knew I was loved without him saying a word".

My Daddy…that’s what he’s always been “daddy”. A lot of times what he’d hear from me is “daddy can you…? Daddy can I….? Daddy do you mind…? And what I’d hear from him is “yes honey… “ “sure honey….” “What do you need, honey?”… I can do that honey and then he’d tell me he loved me…Because he always said yes and he always gave his time and his love and his last. When my daughter, his granddaughter came along he started hearing “poppy can you play….? Poppy can I have…? Poppy will you help….? And the answers to her were all the same…yes honey….because he loved us. And that’s what I’ll remember and that’s what I’ll miss. His love and definitely his Hugs.

Steven was the epitome of a good person. He had so much love to give, and he was loved by more people than one could ever count. He had the best heart, and would help anyone who was in need. He would give you the last dollar out of his wallet if you asked for it. The number of people he helped in his lifetime is truly amazing, and he used every opportunity he had to do so.He was the best husband, father, and grandfather that anyone could ever dream of having.

Steven was a father I always wanted. He poured out his genuine and unconditional love generously. He loved us all so much there was nothing he wouldn't do for us. I remember as a kid he would help me with my homework at the kitchen table. I remember this one time my car broke down on the highway. I called him and he came to help me. While waiting I remember he gave me a hug and I just started crying on his shoulder. He said "I am here now you don't have to cry." When I had my first daughter Meley he would hold her tight and help her fall asleep. He would joke with her and she would scratch his head and make sandwiches together. He would play outside with my son Adonai and my little girl Milena. My husband and he clicked so fast. My husband says “that's my buddy” because Steven is so willing to come to the house and talk about cars, eat and love having tea with us. He has been a father and a role model for me, my husband and my children. We love him so much and we will miss him so much.

Steven was one of the best grandfathers I had. Steven was a one of a kind man, one in eight billion people, and I gave him as much love as I could. Steven had too many good attributes to count, he was loving, caring, funny, kind, fun, hardworking, patient, spontaneous, reliable, enthusiastic, always happy, and all together amazing, even if scratching the white hairs on his head for minutes was his idea of fun! Steven was lovable, that he was more than worthy of all our love! If I could change anything about him, I wouldn't! He is one of those people that you could never usually see flaws in. I am happy with the time that was provided to me with him, because he was very joyful. When I thought of him or even just his name that's all I would see joyfulness! I was lucky to have someone like that in my life, because everybody would want someone like him, they would want Steven!!
“Adonai”
Steven was a lover of baseball. He spent his early childhood years participating in Little League baseball which led to his becoming an almost fanatic follower of the Atlanta Braves.
The family is deeply saddened by the passing of this amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.
