Steve Edward Martin, a cherished father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on December 30, 1944, Steven led a life characterized by his deep patriotism, vibrant spirit, and a love for laughter. His genuine warmth and ability to connect with people earned him a reputation as someone who never met a stranger.
Steve was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Helen Martin; his daughter, Stephanie Martin; his parents, James and Eloise Martin; and his brother, James Wesley Martin.
Steve dedicated 32 years of his life to General Motors, where he not only contributed his skills but also stood proudly as a representative for Union Workers. He relished the moments spent with them, cherishing every laugh and conversation shared.
While Steve never professed to be a Christian, he openly acknowledged his love for the Lord, embracing his identity as a humble sinner. His approach to life was that of unwavering gratitude and a desire to live fully, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Steve (Kim) Martin, along with his beloved grandchildren: Tanner (Shana) Martin, Nash Martin, Zach Crowley, and Erica Vinson. They will remember him for his infectious laughter and the countless memories they created together.
