Scarlett Elaine White, of Conyers, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at the age of 63. Mrs. White was a woman who found joy in life’s simple pleasures and the beauty of the outdoors. She loved riding horses, fishing, gardening, and spending time in nature. A creative spirit, she enjoyed writing poetry and singing, often sharing her talents with those around her. Mrs. White had a deep love for animals and cherished every moment spent with her family and friends, who meant the world to her. She was preceded in death by her father, Scott Crosby; step-father, J.C. Poteet; grandparents, Buddy & Fannie Fields.
Survivors include her husband, Charles White; mother, Betty Poteet; children, Amanda Little, Jessica Jessup (Nick); step-sons, Chuck White, Derek White (Danielle); sister, Robin Miller (Rick); grandchildren, Jayron Little, Elijah Little, Nathaniel Little, Conner Jessup, Dylan Jessup, Paisley Jessup, step-grandchildren, Carmen White, Charles White, Aaron White, (Kailagh), Bryce White (Savannah), Hunter White, great-great-grandchildren, Aubrey Little, Hailey Little; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. White will be held Monday, March 16, 2026, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to her service, from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
