Sarah W Kirkpatrick

November 18, 1938 — May 24, 2024

Covington Ga

Sarah W. Kirkpatrick, affectionately known as Sarah to her friends and family, completed her earthly journey on May 24, 2024, embraced by the same peaceful surroundings of Covington, Georgia where she first entered the world on November 18, 1938. Sarah was the cherished daughter of Bonner and Tillie Watson, both of whom, along with her adoring husband Sonny Kirkpatrick and beloved brothers Bill Watson and Junior Watson, preceded her in death as well as her sister-in-law Diane Watson. Sarah's presence will be profoundly missed by her devoted family, her daughter and son-in-law Elaine and Greg Thomas, and sons and daughters-in-law Keith and Kim Kirkpatrick, and Mark and Lynn Kirkpatrick. including her sister-in-law Shirley Watson, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Charles and Joyce Lewis, Sarah’s world was made even brighter by her grandchildren Kyle, Kameryn, Bonner, Ross and his wife Eleonora, Carter, Zach and his wife Erica, and Beau and his wife Maci, as well as her great-grandchildren Shane, Hoke, Brooks, Evie, Jax, and Knox. Her working life was characterized by dedication and a strong work ethic; Sarah retired from Ace Hardware Warehouse following 20 years of commended service and previously contributed a decade of her talents to Gates Rubber Company. As an owner operator of Watson Mobile Home Park, she built not just a business, but a community—one that reflected her own warm and welcoming nature. She relished being outdoors, feeling the warmth of the sun from the sanctuary of her porch, and she was happiest surrounded by her family. Traveling, particularly her adventures in the mountains, brought her immense joy and contentment, a pleasure only matched by the time spent with her adoring grandchildren and great grandchildren.
