Sarah Bray Drinnon, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on April 28, 1946, Sarah led a life filled with joy, passion, and devotion to her family and her many interests.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Bray, and her brother, Larry Bray. Their memories were a constant source of strength and inspiration in her life.
Sarah is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle (Phil) Tidwell; son, Patrick Parker; and her grandchildren, Amber (Matt) Baker, along with her great-grandchildren, Hailey (Phillip) Stroble, Hannah Baker, Henry Baker, and Harper Baker. She also leaves behind her brothers, Don Bray and Alan Bray; nephews, Patrick Sheppard, and Adam Sheppard and other extended family members.
Throughout her life, Sarah enjoyed a variety of activities that brought her happiness and fulfillment. She was an avid fan of golf and had a deep-rooted passion for Georgia football, often cheering enthusiastically for her favorite teams. Her love for animals was evident in her care for her beloved cats, and she found solace in the tranquility of birdwatching. An avid gardener, Sarah took pride in nurturing her plants and flowers, finding joy in the beauty of nature. Reading was another of her cherished pastimes, allowing her to explore new worlds and ideas.
A Funeral Service for Ms. Drinnon will be held Saturday, December 27, 2025, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to her service, from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M.
