Sammy Saunders

Sammy Saunders, of Conyers, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021, at the age of 77. Sammy was a man of simplicity and he was most content being at home. He delighted in spending time with his children and grandchildren, and his dogs, Little Man and Little Foot were always close by. Sammy was also known to be a huge fan of NASCAR and his favorite driver was Bobby Labonte. He was preceded in death by his mother, Effie Kipps Hubbard; step-father, Edward Hubbard; as well as grandparents, Matt and Berlin Kline.

Sammy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 24 years, Stephanie Saunders; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly Saunders, Tracy and Mark Havens, Christina and Jimmy Craig; son, Sammy Saunders, Jr.; step-daughter, Marilyn Vines and husband, Aaron Criswell; step-son, Michael Vines and wife, Nyki; as well as 11 grandchildren.

A Private Graveside Service for Sammy will be held at a later date at the Ellis Family Cemetery.
