Roy Lee Lazenby, of Covington, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026, at the age of 80. Mr. Lazenby, a retired W2 Chief Warrant Officer, passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends. He was a proud and dedicated serviceman whose strong work ethic carried through every part of his life. Known as a hard worker and a true builder, he loved fishing, building things with his hands, and spending time on his farm in Tennessee.
Mr. Lazenby was fun-loving and full of life, always enjoying the company of others. He especially loved when kids came to visit and was happiest during family reunions. Music was a constant joy in his life—he played guitar often and had a special love for country western music.
Above all, Mr. Lazenby cherished his family and was a joy to be around. He will be remembered for his service, his laughter, and the many memories he created with those who loved him.
Served by several nieces and nephews including his niece, Tracy Lazenby, nephew, Bill Lazenby, Jr., sister, Helen House (Tim), as well as his great-nephew, Miles WIlliamson (Samantha).
