Robert Matthew Stone

Robert Matthew Stone, age 38, of Covington, passed away August 6, 2021. Robert, as he was known to his friends and co-workers, worked for the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a patent examiner. He had many friends in Virginia, Savannah, and Covington and was dearly loved by all of them. Robert traveled across the East Coast playing “Ingress”, which gave him the opportunity to visit many of the cities and historic sites, and to interact with people all over the world. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Marie Stone.

Survivors include his parents, Robert A. and Janice Fraser Stone; aunt, Annette Fraser McGee (Franklin); special aunt, Vicki Jackson; numerous cousins; and best friend, Ricardo Fromader.

A private graveside service will be held in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
